The Corplet Drones are a group of drone bees that are enemies in numerous places in the Grand Tomes. They are also seen as obstacles on Kartos' tracks.
Appearance[]
The Corplet Drones are mostly yellow, with light blue eyes, orange eyelids, clear wings with a white outline, and brown antennae. They also sport large wings. The members sit inside of a striped shell that contains 11 yellow spikes on the surface. The spikes on each layer of the shell are spaced evenly horizontally from each other (isometric). The shell is mostly gray with a dark gray stripe in the middle. The spikes are bright orange. The spikes travel at 50 pixels per second.
Name Origin[]
A drone is a male bee that comes from an unfertilized bee egg. A drone is also an unmanned aerial vehicle, which refers to the fact that Corplet Drones hover up and down. Corplet is a play-on-words on the word "corporation" and the suffix "-let," showing that these enemies are related to Capital B somehow.

Combat[]
To defeat the Corplet Drones you have to stun them with Laylees Sonar Shot and hit them with an attack right after. They will explode afterwards.

- Although they are called Corplet Drones, they are part of the Ladybird Army.
- After it was discovered the JonTrons' voice was removed from the game, Playtonic Games released the Corplet Drone as the character of the day on Twitter, and its quote is: "Hello, I'm a Corplet Drone. I've no dialogue in ''Yooka-Laylee'', but please look forward to my inclusion." Before JonTron's role in Yooka-Laylee was revealed, some speculated that JonTron's voice was the Corplet Drone since the character had no voice role. Some theorized that the Corplet Drone was voiced by JonTron, but after he was kicked off the game, the voice role of the Corplet Drone was removed.
- However, after the Hivory Hub's (A YouTube channel that focus' on Yooka-Laylee content) discovery of JonTron's voice[1], this speculation was proven to be false, as JonTron actually voiced the Space Outhouse.
