Meanyions

Spring Meanyion A meanyion that jumps when the player jumps or rolls
Spring Meanyion Jump
Boundalong Meanyion A frog-like meanyion that jumps occasionally. It can only be defeated by jumping on it, as running into it will bounce Yooka backwards. The only way it can damage Yooka is by landing on him.
Boundalong Meanyion Blue Flying
Bounderang Meanyion A frog-like meanyion that is identical to the Boundalong, with the exception of being orange, and that he leaps to the side instead of just up and down.

charges at the player. Yooka will take damage if he charges it from the front.

Copter Meanyion A meanyion that flies. it is coated in spikes, making it impossible to defeat by normal means.
Spike dropping copter Meanyion A variant of the Copter Meanyion that drops a spike downward when the player approaches from underneath. After dropping a spike, it waits a second before reloading.

Ineptipus An underwater enemy. some will pull the player towards it, some simply swim about in synchronized patterns. They are invincible (Unless the player bought the Torpedo Play-Tonic).

Shell-less: A simple slug who moves in one direction. They are slower than normal meanyons.


With Shell: Upon defeat, will drop its shell. The player can then pick up and throw the shell, causing it to roll and bounce off walls (not unlike a Koopa Troopa) before it inevitably breaks.

Cannon A cannon that shoots fireballs. some are stationary, some aim before shooting.
Homing cannon A larger cannon that spits a missile that follows Yooka surprisingly very well.
Queasy spherical enemies that can fire lasers in four directions. They are invincible to normal attacks, and can be bounced on top of when not firing.
Really Queasy Giant purple Queasies that only appear in Production Path - Panic. They are the main obstacle of that level. One touch from their beam is game over.

Trivia

  • Meanyions were originally going to be named "Baddie Smalls."
