"Eh-oh!"― Normy
Normy is a yellow Ghost Writer that permanently remains idle. It is trapped within the Grand Tomes in search of salvation until Yooka and Laylee rescues it. Through creating vocal and visual cues, Normy is the only Ghost Writer to encourage the duo to collect it.
Appearance[]
Normy is a yellow humanoid-like figure with a brown half-circle face. It has two stubby legs and small horns on top of his head. His arms are longer than his legs, and it is often seen with an uncertain smile.
Name Origin[]
Normy is a shortened form of the word "Normal" meaning "conforming to a standard; usual, typical, or expected." It does nothing, so it is just a standard Ghost Writer.

Trivia[]
- Normy's waving might be a reference to the Jinjos from the Banjo-Kazooie series. They yell "Help!" while waving their arms.
- Normy is the only Ghost Writer who encourages the duo to collect it, making him the closest in spirit to the original Jinjos.
- The gender of all of the Ghost Writers is confirmed to be "non-specific" by Daley Johnson.[1]
