The Bee-Team is a cooperative mode in Yooka-Laylee. The second player can control a swarm of bees to assist the main player by collecting quills on the ground and replenishing health by picking up the butterflies.
Gameplay[edit | edit source]
One player takes control of the duo. While on the other hand, another player takes control of a swarm of bees, hence the name "The Bee-Team". The second player can assist the first player, by making it much easier to make it from point A to point B swiftly.

Trivia[edit | edit source]
- A "B-Team" is a group of people who serve as a back-up to an "A-Team", such as a group of understudies in a stage performance. Typically, the B-Team is only called in when the A-Team is otherwise unavailable, as a B-Team is inherently considered to be less skilled and/or valuable than an A-Team. In the case of the Bee-Team, the name references the way that they only exist as a support team to the primary characters, Yooka and Laylee.
- Another team of bees would help Yooka and Laylee in Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair.
